Where to eat in Malaysia [Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Melacca]

If you're looking for ideas on where to eat in Malaysia, here are the places we visited and ate at. I'll be updating this post with more photos once I edit them.

1. Restoran Sing Pao Dim Sum, Old Klang Road 

We had dimsum at Restoran Sing Pao Dim Sum, Old Klang Road.


2. Restoran NSV Usj6
We had curry mee at Restoran NSV Usj6.

3. Oriental Kopi 华阳 at Sunway Pyramid
I can't resist egg tarts so we tried Oriental Kopi's egg tarts.


4. Thong Kee Cafe, Glenmarie 
We had coffee, char kuey teow, dry prawn noodles, and roti bakar at Thong Kee Cafe, Glenmarie.

5. Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant
We had more dimsum at Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant where they served dimsums in trolleys. 


6. 錦選香港特極点心 Restoran Jin Xuan Hong Kong @USJ 10
I was always craving for dimsum so we had more dimsum at 錦選香港特極点心 Restoran Jin Xuan Hong Kong @USJ 10.


7. Copper Mansion
It was at this dimsum place that I found out that they charge for peanuts and service tea, which is pretty much free for dimsum places here in the Philippines. The fee is small but I was still surprised.

8. Pasar Malam Taman Connaught
I wasn't able to go to a night market in Singapore which made me sad since I like going to night markets when I visit an Asian country. Luckily, I was able to go to Pasar Malam Taman Connaught, a night market in Kuala Lumpur.


9. Pasar Malam Setia Alam
Named as the longest pasar malam, the Pasar Malam Setia Alam definitely involved a lot of walking and of course, a lot of eating.

12. Peranakan Place, Jonker Street Melaka
One of the food that I missed out on in Singapore was Paranakan food. Fortunately, I was able to try Peranakan Place in Jonker Street, Malacca.

13. LULALA Melaka Jonker Street
It was really hot at Melaka when we walked around Jonker Street which is why we couldn't resist chendol while enjoying the Malacca River view.

14. Restoran Yik Heong
Restoran Yik Heong had really good bak kut teh, I definitely recommend it if you're looking to try bak kut teh. They also give free refills of the soup, which I was told was a normal thing to do.

15. Meisek Restaurant
We had curry mee and popiah at Meisek Restaurant.


16. Kee’s Son (Meng Chuan) Prawn and beef noodles
We had prawn noodles and beef noodles at Kee’s Son (Meng Chuan).

17. 新青山 Hokkien Mee (Subang SS14)

I really liked Chagee's drinks, we kept going to Chagee in different locations because we craved for it every time we passed by a Chagee branch.
