Curried Away Indian Restaurant Review

Food from Curried Away Indian Restaurant reminds me of the movie “The Hundred-Foot Journey”, where you can truly appreciate Indian food that is true to its form. Once you bite into Curried Away’s dishes, you’ll discover just how rich and passionate Indian food is.

Cheese Samosa
Their cheese samosas are so addictive! Even if you leave it on the table for 2-3 hours, the filling is still hot and the crust remains very crispy and slightly flaky. Apart from cheese, the cheese samosa had curry potatoes as its filling. By itself, it was mildly spicy but if you eat it with the tomato chutney, it becomes a lot spicier.

Chicken Tikka
The Chicken Tikka is definitely for those who love spicy food, this one was really spicy.

Beef Kebab
For something milder, the Beef Kebab is good for those who can’t handle spicy food. We loved the Beef Kebab and it tasted even better with the garlic dip.

Butter Paneer Masala
With a delicious smell, the Butter Paneer Masala was definitely one of the more unique dishes. I really loved the butter paneer masala, it has a rich taste and has a spicy aftertaste. I also love it because it has cheese! Paneer is actually an Indian cheese. I chose this dish because I wanted to try one of their vegetarian dishes, who knew that I would really like it.

Chai Tea Masala
Flavorful and aromatic, I definitely enjoyed drinking Chai Tea Masala alongside the spicy food from Curried Away. They delivered it hot but since I prefer my drinks cold, I added ice in my drink. It was definitely a refreshing contrast to drink iced chai tea masala alongside the spicy Indian food.
