Easy 3-4 Ingredient Kid-Friendly Recipes Packed with Protein and Calcium

In line with this year's Nutrition Month goal to combat growth stunting, I'll be sharing with you the easy recipes I tried. Ajinomoto recently sent me a couple of Aji Savor on Rice and Prottie soy milk drink mix sachets.

You can check the original recipes from Ajinomoto's website but the recipes I used were my own version. I make these snacks for my daughter all the time since they're easy to make.

Egg salad sandwich
Ingredients:
-Bread
-1 Egg
-1 tbsp mayonnaise
-Aji Savor on Rice

Procedure:
1. Boil the egg.
2. Toast the bread.
3. Mash the eggs and mix in mayonnaise and the Aji Savor rice topping.
4. Spread the egg salad onto the toasted bread. Serve.

Optional:
I like using Japanese mayo for my egg salad sandwich. You could also add a sheet of seaweed in between the bread. For the egg salad, you could also add spring onion and sauteed garlic.

Chocolate Banana Pancake
Ingredients:
-1 egg
-1 banana
-1 chocolate Prottie

Procedure:
1. Mash the banana and mix in the egg and prottie.
2. Pan-fry the pancake mixture. Serve.

Optional:
This is one of my daughter’s favorite snacks and she always asks me to make her some banana pancakes. You could add honey, vanilla, nuts or chocolate chips.

Cheesy Mashed Potato
Ingredients:
-1 potato
-Grated cheese
-Aji Savor on Rice

Procedure:
1. Boil the potato and mash it.
2. Mix in the grated cheese and Aji Savor on Rice. Serve.

Optional:
You could also add Japanese mayonnaise, sauteed garlic and spring onion for a more delicious treat.

Aji Savor on Noodles
You can cook your little one’s favorite noodle dish and add the toppings on top of the noodles. It could be pasta or soba noodles like what I did.

You could also add it to your pancit canton, complete with a soft boiled egg.

Thank you again Ajinomoto for sending me these! The airplane backpack is so cute. Read about National Nutrition Month: Avoid Stunting by Eating Food Rich in Protein and Calcium.
